Description

High yielding, white flowered variety. Runner Bean White Emergo produces long, smooth pods from late summer to autumn.

Sowing Instructions

May to July outdoors, directly into rich, well prepared soil in a sunny spot. Provide support for climbing habit, either a row or wigwam of 180cm canes or netting, sow 2 seeds against each cane, 5cm deep.

Growing Instructions

Keep watered, particularly once flowering commences, adding a mulch during hottest, dry periods.

Aftercare

Pick pods regularly whilst young for heaviest yields and to extend the season.

Kitchen Notes

Perfect accompaniment to a traditional roast. Mature seeds can be used as a substitute for Butter Beans.
