Easy to grow and good for you. Preferring a light, rich soil. Separate the bulbs into individual cloves and plant just below the surface in late winter/early spring. Lift and dry the bulbs in late summer and store cool.

Sufficient for a 3m (10 foot) row.

Pack size: 250g when packed, sets size between 17-21mm (approx 50 sets), or 14-21mm (approx 75 sets), dependent on weather, harvesting and grading issues.

Potato : Cara

Round/oval pinkish-red eyed tubers with soft moist flesh. Particularly good baker. Withstands drought. Very disease resistant, including golden eelworm and blight. The allotment favourite.

Versatile all rounder. Dry, floury, creamy-white flesh of good flavour rarely discolours on cooking. The best chipping variety around. Golden eelworm resistant. Purple flowers.

Potato : Vivaldi

The No.1 for taste, mouthwatering and creamy whether boiled, baked, mashed or roasted. Really versatile as also excellent for high yields of 'baby' potatoes, and larger tubers as a Second Early/Early Maincrop. Oval, yellow skinned with pale yellow flesh. Good common scab resistance.
